I appreciate the care I received and understand that the clinic was very busy and that Dr. Cobb was covering for other providers. However, I left my appointment feeling confused and without a clear understanding of my diagnosis or next steps.
As a very active person who relies on my feet for my work, this is a serious issue for me. My diagnosis was briefly mentioned as something like Achilles insertional calcific tendinopathy, but it was not clearly explained, and I still don’t fully understand what is going on or how to properly manage it.
I’ve already followed prior recommendations, including orthotics and stretching, without relief, and I was hoping to have time to explain that and discuss next steps. Instead, I was advised to “buy boots,” which felt too vague to be actionable—especially since I have already spent a significant amount of money on footwear (including Hoka Bondi and New Balance Hierro v9) trying to address this issue.
At this point, I feel like I paid for an appointment but did not receive clear guidance or a treatment plan.
What I would really appreciate is:
A follow-up appointment where my condition is clearly explained
Specific, actionable recommendations (including precise footwear guidance if relevant)
Consideration of comping or crediting that follow-up, given that I left without clarity from the original visit
I’m motivated to follow a plan—I just need to understand what that plan is.

He was calm and welcoming. He gave me good advice about toe nail healing, shoes, inserts, and hiking boots. He also gave me excellent info about a surgical procedure for a lipoma excision.

I felt totally at ease and actually enjoyed my visit.. even with a broken foot.. He showed me my X-rays and explained the healing process.. I highly recommend him!

I was greeted in a friendly manner by everyone setting up the appointment. Dr. Cobb was very careful to explain what was really the problem and how to take care of it. He was professional and friendly and I really appreciated him.

My first visit with Dr. Haas was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and made check-in effortless. Dr. Haas took time to listen carefully as I described my ankle discomfort and activity level. He had a thoughtful, professional manner that immediately inspired confidence. During the exam, he explained everything clearly, showing me exactly where the inflammation was and reassuring me that it could be managed without difficulty. He recommended icing to reduce swelling and the use of an ankle brace for added support while walking. I left feeling relieved, informed, and very positive about the path forward—grateful to have found such a caring and knowledgeable specialist.

Dr. Teagarden and her staff are extremely thorough, caring and skilled. I’ve felt completely taken care of at each visit. Dr. Teagarden is an excellent surgeon. My foot looks AMAZING !!! I’d go back again and again, if I only had more feet
