He was recognized by his peers with the Pierce B Nelson award for exemplifying honesty and dedication to podiatric medicine. Dr. Lingao completed his training with an extensive podiatric surgical residency at the Department of Veteran Affairs Palo Alto and Stanford University. He received advanced training in forefoot and rearfoot pathology and developed a passion for treating lower extremity wounds and limb preservation, particularly for patients with diabetes and peripheral vascular disease.
